Pet Shop Catches Fire, Firefighters Rescue Eight Dogs

KUCHING, July 29 (Bernama) — Quick action by firemen helped save eight dogs at the Loving Pets shop in Jalan Song here, which caught fire early today.
However, one canine perished in the 3.45am incident.
Sarawak Fire and Rescue assistant director of operations
Tiong Ling Hii in a statement here said the shop was 70 per cent destroyed.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
