Mobile phone shop fire guts property worth around Rs 2 lakh in Morang

URLABARI, MORANG: Property worth around Rs 200,000 was gutted when a mobile phone shop engulfed in flames in Sakalpur area of Sundarharaincha Municipality-8 in Morang district on Friday night.
The shop owned by Ram Thapa in a house belonging to one Bijaya Baral caught fire destroying various electronic gadgets in the shop at 8:00 pm yesterday, according to Inspector Ramji Katuwal at the , Belbari-based Area Police Office.
The preliminary investigation points to electricity leakage as the cause of the blaze, said police.
The fire was doused by the police team deployed from Biratchowk-based Police Post with the help of locals, informed police.
