Firemen stops fire from spreading at KK Times Square

KOTA KINABALU: A late evening blaze that broke out at a room in a hotel at the KK Times Square area here was quickly contained thanks to the quick response of firemen.
Sabah Fire and Rescue Services Department operations centre chief Khatizah Rahaban said no casualties were reported following the fire that broke out on the second floor room at about 10.46pm on Saturday.
She said 17 firemen and three fire engines were rushed to the scene and arrived there six minutes later.
Khatizah said firemen managed to bring the blaze under control by 11.22pm.
The cause of the fire is being investigation.
