Fire kills 4 in Bandarban

Unb, BandarbanFour farmers, including three members of a family, were burned to death while working at Sadhu Headman Para in Roangchhari upazila Sunday evening.
The deceased were identified as Moni Tripura, 35, his two sons-in-law-Chingmong Tripura, 26, and Kulaha Tripura, and relative Attaha Tripura, 25.
Witnesses said the fire which was set for clearing the land of Jhum cultivation spread to an adjoining banana orchard. The four people were trapped in the orchard and burnt alive.
Later, their charred bodies were recovered from the orchard. Police and army went to spot yesterday morning
