Fire gutted a chemical warehouse at Kalurghat in the port city early yesterday.
The fire had originated from chemical reaction in chemical materials kept at the warehouse, said fire service sources.
Two fire fighting units from Kalurghat fire station rushed to the spot and doused the blaze.
The value of damaged valuables was estimated at Tk 5 lakh.
