Fire breaks out at fuel station in Mandalay

Mandalay, 2 Feb-A fire broke out at the fuel station of Green Luck on 78th street between 40th and 41st streets in Mahaaungmye Township of Mandalay at 5 pm on 28 January.
The fire started from pumping fuel out of the bowser to the station.
Over 180 members of Fire Brigade and local people fought against fire with the use of 38 fire engines and magaged to put out the fire at 5.15 pm.
The central fire station of Mandalay Region used five gallons of oil fire extinguishers.
A total of 12 tyres, 10 gallons of oil, two shells and 15 feet long pipe lost in the fire. In the incident, Zaw Myint Myat, 32 was injured at left and right thighs and legs, Saw Gay Ku, 25 at right ear, neck and right hand and Zaw Min Yu, 34, at chest.
The injured were rushed to Mandalay General Hospital with the use of ambulances.
Mandalay Police Station No 9 filed a lawsuit against them under the law.
