Fire engulfs neighborhood in Tanah Kusir

A fire destroyed several houses in a densely populated area at Jl. Bendi Ujung, Tanah Kusir, South Jakarta on Wednesday night.
“We received reports about the fire at 8.25 p.m. and have deployed 16 fire trucks to the scene. Right now we are still trying to put out the fire,” South Jakarta Fire operator, Salam, says as quoted by kompas.com.
He said information regarding the cause of fire, damages and fatalities would be made available soon. (hrl/dic)
