Fire on barbecue bus raises alarm in Beijing

A bus used as the diner of a barbecue restaurant near Chaoyang North Road in Chaoyang district in Beijing caught fire on May 6. Firefighters put out the fire, and have transferred two gas tanks inside the bus to safe places before any potential blasts could happen. No one was injured, and the owners of the barbecue restaurant were taken in for questioning. Previous reports revealed some barbecue restaurant owners transformed buses into dining places due to recent open-air barbecue business bans.
