Updated: 2013-02-10-08:21
A fire of undetermined origin destroyed a junk shop in Sta. Rosa in Laguna province as it reached Task Force Alpha alarm early Sunday.
The fire at Barangay Balibago started at 1:35 a.m. and prompted firefighters to rush to the area, radio dzBB’s Roland Bola reported.
No one was initially reported injured in the fire, the report said.
A tweet by volunteer firefighter group TXTFire said the fire was placed under control at 8:09 a.m.
Also, the report said the Laguna Bureau of Fire Protection said the fire has been “confined” to the junk shop as it is far from residential areas.
The BFP said arson investigators are still determining what caused the fire.
