Ventilation ducting catches fire at Albert Centre

A fire broke out at the Albert Centre Market and Food Centre, but no one was injured in the incident on Sunday afternoon.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said they were alerted of the incident at 4.20pm.
The fire involved the mechanical ventilation ducting measuring about 20m in length located on the second storey of the food centre on Queen Street, SCDF said.
They dispatched two fire engines, two Red Rhinos, four support vehicles and one ambulance to the scene.
