Fire destroys five houses

CEBU, Philippines – Fire destroyed five houses yesterday morning in sitio Little Baguio, barangay Bulacao, Talisay City.
No one was reported injured.
The Talisay City Fire Station put the fire under control after three minutes fighting it.
SFO2 Ellen Aguilar said the fire started at the house of Elizabeth Panal, 49, whose grandchildren allegedly had played with matches.
The fire immediately spread to neighboring houses owned by Richel Panal, 21, Melchora Parba, 40, Henry Cabriana, 30, and Marciano Pardoncillo.
The five houses were made of light materials. Damage to property was put at P50,000. (FREEMAN)
