Fire destroys 4 houses in Pasig 1 hurt

MANILA, Philippines – One person was hurt when a fire destroyed at least four houses in Barangay Nagpayong, Pasig City yesterday.
The fire started at Rogelio Salvador’s house just before 2 a.m. Salvador was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of third-degree burns he sustained.
Zorayda Bueta told arson investigators that she had to grab her son, nephew and Salvador when she realized their house was on fire.
Chief Inspector Roy Quisto said they are investigating reports that the fire started in the kitchen of Salvador’s house.
