P3M in property destroyed by predawn fire in Manila

Around five families were affected and P3 million(67,161$：1PHP=0.022387JPY,02/27 rate) in property was destroyed in a fire that hit an old house in Manila’s Sta. Ana district.
The fire started shortly after 2 a.m. and reached the fifth alarm before firefighters put it out at 2:58 a.m., radio dzBB’s Manny Vargas reported.
While no one was initially reported injured, the fire at the corner of Lamayan and Azucena Streets destroyed several antique pieces in the house.
Investigation showed the fire spread quickly in the house as it was made of wood.
Arson investigators are verifying information the fire stemmed from a pile of garbage being burned. — DVM, GMA News
