KUANTAN, May 1 (Bernama) — Shoppers at the Kuantan Parade were forced to evacuate the shopping complex when fire razed the main stage situated on the ground floor of the shopping complex.
Kuantan Fire and Rescue Department operations chief Saijidin Ahmad said the department received a distress call at 6.12pm to inform about the fire.
He said two fire engines with 11 firemen were deployed to the site and managed to bring the fire under control by 6.25pm.
