Fire razes eight wooden houses in Jelutong

GEORGE TOWN: A fire razed eight wooden houses adjacent to each other located on Jalan Madrasah, Jelutong here.
“We were able to control the fire by 4.58pm,” he said, adding some units were completely consumed by the flames.
He said that a total of 22 firemen were at the scene, including those from several other fire stations.
No casualties were reported.
