Fire destroys 15 houses in Kuala Perlis

KANGAR: Fire destroyed 15 wooden houses at Kampung Seberang Tok Pi, Kuala Perlis near here.
The Fire and Rescue Department’s senior operations commander Supt Mohd Firdaus Yusop said a call was received at about 2.37am and 34 firemen rushed to the scene at Kampung Seberang Tok Pi in Kuala Perlis.
“Upon arrival at the scene, it was found out that at least 15 houses including a shophouse were destroyed in the fire. A fishing boat was also destroyed.
“The fire was brought under controlled at 3.42am,” he said.
