Man Burnt To Death In House Fire

BELURAN, Dec 28 (Bernama) — A man was burnt to death in a fire at a house in Kampung Barayong Torodong, Telupid, near here last night.
Kinabatangan Fire and Rescue Department chief Nurul Azlan Jamalludin said the body of the victim, Jun Ambilai, 44, was found in the living room of the house.
Azlan said the department received an emergency call at 10.10pm, and mobilised a fire-engine with four personnel to the scene, which was 133km from the Kinabatangan Fire Station.
Another fire-engine with eight personnel from the Beluran Fire and Rescue Station also helped in the operation which ended at 1.10am, he said, adding that the cause of the incident was still being investigated.
