Fire breaks out in Maternity Hospital canteen

KATHMANDU: A fire broke out due to leakage of cooking gas in the canteen of Paropakar Maternity Hospital in Thapathali on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Hospital Administrator Ranu Thapa, stock piled food and utensils inside the canteen were gutted in the fire.
The fire was put out by the hospital staff before the fire tender arrived. Moreover, the incident reportedly led to a commotion in the hospital.
