Property worth Rs 4 lakh gutted in Bhojpur house fire

BHOJPUR: Property worth around Rs 400,000 were gutted when a house was engulfed in flames in Odhare area of Bhojpur Municipality-4 in Bhojpur district on Tuesday.
A house made of mud and stone belonging to one Hasta Bahadur Jogi caught fire gutting furnitures, clothes, food materials among other belongings worth Rs 394,000 at around 7:00 pm yesterday, according to Province 1 Police Office, Biratnagar.
Police with the help of local residents took the fire under control.
It is yet to ascertain the cause of the blazem police informed.
Likewise, property worth Rs 150,000 were gutted when a fire erupted in the house belonging to Narad Khatiwada in Sirijangha Rural Municipality-1 of Taplejung district on Tuesday.
All the belongings stored in the house turned into cinders, police informed.
