32-year-old woman dies in Pasay fire

At least one person died in a fire that hit a residential area along 3rd Street in Barangay 183, Pasay City Wednesday morning.
According to Jonathan Andal’s report on Unang Balita, a 32-year-old woman was trapped inside the bathroom of a burning house and was not able to survive the fire which reached the 2nd alarm.
Superintendent Paul Pili of Pasay City’s Bureau of Fire Protection said the victim may have had mental disability. All her companions who made it out of the house were accounted for.
The fire, which razed up to three houses and affected five families, was officially declared out at 6:22 a.m.
Authorities were still investigating the cause of the blaze as of posting time. —Margaret Claire Layug/KG, GMA News
