BJMP official dies in Antipolo residential fire

A Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) official died on Saturday after a fire broke out in his home in Barangay San Jose, Antipolo City.
According to a report by Super Radyo dzBB’s Luisito Santos, Headquarters Support Service Unit chief Jail Superintendent Greg Sibug was trapped in his Robinsons Homes East residence during the fire.
The 41-year-old victim was rushed to the Rizal Provincial Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
The BJMP administration had relayed its condolences to the victim’s bereaved family.
The Bureau of Fire Protection had yet to determine the cause of the blaze.
