A third fire in the Philippines on Christmas Day broke out along San Andres Bukid’s Estrada Street in national capital Manila, as Typhoon Ursula continued unleashing its fury elsewhere in the Visayas and in parts of southern Luzon.
A report by Sam Nielsen on Super Radyo dzBB said the fire broke out at 12:56 p.m. and hit the second alarm minutes after.
Manila Fire Department’s fire officials have yet to give an initial assessment, amid efforts to control the fire.
In Cebu City, one person was reported killed in a fire that broke out in Barangay Mambaling on the first hour of Christmas Day.
On Christmas Eve, a residential area along Bacood St. in Sta. Mesa, in Manila was hit bay a fire that broke out after residents had their Noche Buena.
Typhoon Ursula pummeled the central Philippines on Christmas Day, bringing a wet and miserable holiday season to millions in the mainly Catholic nation.
