Foreigner killed in Manila high-rise fire

A foreigner died when a fire broke out at the Legaspi Tower on Roxas Boulevard in Manila on Saturday afternoon, according to Super Radyo dzBB’s Luisito Santos.
The fire had reached the fourth alarm by Saturday evening.
However, a foreigner who jumped off the 8th floor of the burning building was confirmed to have died, according to Santos.
The fire was declared under control at 7:40 p.m.
Officials at the scene have yet to ascertain the fire’s cause.
The fire was finally put out at 9:01 p.m. Saturday, according to a report by Super Radyo dzBB correspondent Jhomer Apresto.
