1 injured, P12M worth of damages in Taguig warehouse fire

Some P12 million worth of properties were damaged and a resident was injured in a 16-hour fire that hit a warehouse along Veterans Road, Western Bicutan in Taguig City, the Bureau of Fire Protection said Wednesday.
The victim was identified as Jaed Joseph Isifu who suffered a head injury and was immediately brought to ACE Hospital in Pateros.
In its report, the BFP said the fire broke out at Building A in Jy & Sons Compound at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Based on initial investigation, the fire started at Grandeur Floor Coverings Warehouse, which contains rugs, carpets, and other appliances.
The BFP said the fire was under control at 4:31 a.m. on Wednesday and was declared fire out at 9:47 a.m.
Arson investigators have yet to determine the cause of the fire.—AOL, GMA News
