Fire breaks out in Rohini court, no casualties reported

NEW DELHI: A major fire broke out at the third floor of the Rohini court on Thursday morning. The fire department pressed in nine fire tenders to douse the flames. Fire officials say that so far no casualties were reported, but a number of files were gutted in the flames.
The incident took place at around 9.30am when some staffers of the court had reached the premises. The fire broke out at the third floor record room and spread to the adjacent rooms.
Fire officials said that the blaze has been brought under control and a cooling operation was under way. The court officers have been asked to take stock of the situation.
