Two foreign nationals and six Filipinos were among those killed in an accident involving a medical evacuation flight at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Sunday evening.
In a press conference, Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) General Manager Ed Monreal confirmed that there was one Canadian and one American onboard the Lionair aircraft that caught on fire.
Monreal also confirmed that among those onboard the flight were a medic, a nurse, a doctor, flight crew, and patient, and a companion.
“Unfortunately, I cannot reveal the names because operators are still trying to get the nearest of kin to inform them,” he said. — DVM, GMA News
