Fire breaks out at Supermax office building in Thane, no casualties

THANE: A minor fire broke out at the premises of Supermax/Panama Company near Teen Hath Naka in Thane on Thursday afternoon.
RDMC and fire officials said the blaze was reported in the server room located on the first floor of the company building and was doused before it could spread to the other areas.
Three fire engines, a QRV and water tanker were pressed into service to douse the fire. Civic officials said that no casualty or injury was reported in the mishap and the situation was under control.
The trigger of the blaze and the quantum of damages to the premises will be investigated later, said civic officials.
