P500k in property destroyed in Makati fire

At least six houses were razed while some P500,000 in property were destroyed in a fire that razed a residential area in Makati City Thursday night.
No one was initially reported injured in the fire along Fahrenheit Street in Palanan village, radio dzBB’s Paulo Santos reported early Friday.
The fire started at about 10 p.m. and reached the third alarm before it was put out at 10:43 p.m.
An initial investigation determined that the fire was caused by an unattended candle at the house of one Ferdinand delos Santos.
Thursday night’s fire occurred a few hours after a fire razed at least 30 houses in Cebu province Thursday afternoon.
A firefighter was injured in the Cebu blaze. — DVM, GMA News
