Major fire breaks out at Karkardooma building

NEW DELHI: A major fire broke out at the CGHS Housing society office in east Delhi’s Karkardooma area. 22 fire tenders have been deployed in the area to contain the flames. No casualties were reported till now.
Fire officials say that the fire broke out around 1.50pm at the top two floors of the building. More than 60 firemen have been deployed to douse the flames.
Officials say that fire lifts have been deployed to douse the flames that is suspected to have broken out due to a short circuit.
