Updated: 2019–08–03
MUMBAI: A fire erupted at Navrang building in Abdul Rehman street south Mumbai on Saturday morning. No person has been injured in the incident so far. Eight fire engines, seven jumbo water tankers and an ambulance were rushed to the site.
According to the Mumbai fire brigade officials, the blaze had erupted in the loft of the ground plus four-storey structure.
A fire official said that there was zero visibility owing to there being no outlet for the smoke to go out from the building. “We put on our breathing apparatus while fighting the flames,” the fire official added.
Further details awaited.
