Fire breaks out at Indore’s Golden Gate hotel, no casualties reported Indore on Monday morning causing panic in the posh residential locality, Scheme Number 74.
No casualties were reported in the fire as around 12 guests at the Golden Gate hotel were rescued by the fire fighters.
The fire apparently broke out on the first floor of the five-storey building early in the morning.
As the fire started spreading, fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
The hotel is constructed in a residential locality and its walls are close to adjoining residential apartment building. Firemen evacuated the nearby residential premises to prevent any loss of life.
Power was cut in the entire area to avoid any accidents.
Fire men were attempting to douse flames in the building, even as explosions – apparently caused by LPG cylinders – were heard by eyewitnesses.
