Three fire incidents reported in Kolkata on Sunday

KOLKATA: Three fire incidents at three separate places were reported in Kolkata on Sunday.
The first fire broke out at about 3.30am in a roadside toy shop at Rash Behari Avenue. One fire tender was rushed to the spot and the fire was doused completely by around 3.50am. No one was injured but the shop was badly damaged. The cause of the fire was yet to be ascertained.
Another incident of fire was reported at 11.05am, where the fire broke out on the ground floor of a two-storey building at Brindaban Garden Mullick, 1st Lane under Amherst Street police station area due to leakage of an LPG cylinder.
The local police rushed to the spot and one fire tender was also immediately sent to the site after which the fire was extinguished very soon. There were no reports of anybody getting injured.
At about 12.50pm, a fire broke out from a short circuit inside a first-floor room of a G+5 residential building in Subhash Park area near Bansdroni metro station. Two fire tenders were rushed and the fire was doused within an hour by 1.50pm. No injury was reported.
