Thane: Fire breaks out in Dombivli flat, no injuries reported

KALYAN: A fire broke out at a flat in Thakurli area in Dombivli on Saturday afternoon but luckily no one was injured.
Three fire engines and one water tankers were sent to the spot, the fire brigade said. The fire caught in a flat situated on third floor of the apartment.
The fire team said that due to narrow lanes and encroachment on road it took them around 30 minutes to reach at spot to control fire.
The entire building was vacated following the fire. The fire team found that while preparing food a woman had forgotten to switch off gas which led to fire.
