Thane: Fire breaks out at paper mill in Kalyan, no casualties

KALYAN: A major fire broke out at Balkrishna Paper Mill located in Ambivli area near Kalyan on Friday afternoon.
As many as three fire tenders and several water tankers were pressed into action to control the fire.
Luckily no casualties were reported as before the fire could spread, labourers had managed to vacate the mill premises.
The incident took place at 1pm when a worker of the factory saw flames from papers stored in the open and immidiatly called the fire department. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
