Maharashtra: 10 fire cases in Pimpri Chinchwad

PUNE: Ten fire incidents were reported in different areas of Pimpri Chinchwad from Sunday morning.
The incidents occurred in Chinchwad, Chikhali, Akurdi, Wakad and Pimpri. The first incident was reported around 9.30am in Chinchwad. While the firemen were dousing the fire, a rubber godown in Chikhali caught fire. Later in the afternoon, scrap on the premises of a private company caught fire. “In total, we had 10 calls of fire in Pimpri Chinchwad. No one was injured,” an officer of the Pimpri Chinchwad fire brigade said.
