Property worth five million rupees gutted

JORPOKHARI: Property worth Rs 5 million was reduced to ashes today when a fire broke out at Jorpokhari in Panchthar.
The blaze had started from a milk dairy belonging to Tirtha Mishra and Bharat Adhikari of Jorpokhari bazaar at 3:00 pm.
The houses belonging to Devi Bhakta Mainali, Shankar Katwal, Dhan Bahadur Angbo and Ganga Tamang were completely destroyed.
Police said that they had to pull down the house belonging to Man Bahadur Shrestha to bring the blaze under control.
Mainali said the fire broke out from the oven of the dairy.
Nepal police and Nepali army brought the fire under control with the help of locals.
