Massive fire breaks out at Bara steel factory

Update: After an hour of raging, the fire was put out at around 10:45 am this morning by Nepal Police and Nepal Army personnel backed by locals.
Jayaram Kuikel, Police Inspector at Area Police Office, Simara identified deceased as Kanhaiya Shah of Bhatauda-3, Barnaour and Naresh Paswan of Chhatapipra-6 of Bara. They were killed on the spot.
Police have suspected that the fire broke out while wielding diesel tank of the factory.
KATHMANDU: A massive has fire broke out at the Bara-based factory of Bhagwati Steels on Saturday morning.
Nepal Police and Nepal Army personnel backed by locals are fighting the fire.
At least two persons have been reportedly killed in the incident. However, talking to THT Online District Police Office, Bara said that the casualties are yet to be verified.
We can’t provide further information till the inferno is brought under control, an officer at DPO told THT Online over telephone.
