Parked school bus catches fire

KATHMANDU: A parked school bus (Ba 1 Ka 5187) was reduced to ashes after a fire broke out in the premises of Somang Academy School in Thecho VDC-9, Lalitpur in the wee hours of Sunday.
Police said that two other buses were also destroyed in fire.
According to police, property worth around Rs. four million was destroyed in the fire that occurred at around 2:45 am today.
The fire was contained with the help of police personnel and locals, however, the cause behind the fire is yet to be found out.
Police are looking into the incident, taking control of the incident site.
