A fire broke out at a slum in the capital’s Kamrangirchar area Saturday.
On information, fire fighters rushed to the spot and were trying to put out the blaze till 3:00pm when the report was filed.
No casualty was reported in the fire that originated in a shanty around 1:00pm and soon spread to the others, witness said.
Reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
